SPARKLE (Sustainable Planning and Resilience Knowledge Learning Environment) is a pioneering capacity-building program that aims to facilitate a clean energy transition by equipping over 600 Local and Regional Authorities (LRAs) with the skills, capacity, tools, support and inspiration. The learning platform and modelling tool will be sustained well beyond the funded period, with opportunities for upscaling explored, providing vital resources to LRAs in implementing their Clean Energy and Climate Transition across Europe.
As the lead organisation for the second learning pillar on fossil-free districts, Atnaujinkime miestą will co-organize a summer school which will include a study visit to some of the projects and share its experience on one-stop-shop operations model and good practice on energy retrofit. Vilnius will also benefit from developing further policies to complement clean energy transition actions in the City and support the community of experts by having an opportunity to learn and share the ideas with other cities.
